Molecular laboratory

The Molecular Genetics Laboratory of Yugra State University was established in 2021 as part of the «Science and Universities» program. Currently, the laboratory operates as part of the Center for Collective Use (CCU) and the Laboratory of Mycology and Mycotechnology at Yugra State University.

The laboratory premises include three zones for different stages of analysis. The main equipment includes an AB3500 Sanger sequencer and a Nanopore MinION nanopore sequencer with accompanying sample preparation equipment.

The laboratory employs two engineers who maintain the equipment for both scientific and commercial purposes. The laboratory serves as a base for professional training courses, student internships, thesis projects, and research work within the framework of several projects.

The eqipment of the laboratory includes four laboratory zones and a set of instruments for DNA extraction, purification and sequencing.
